Wonton noodle soup is a Chinese dish of Guangdong Province, which belongs to Cantonese cuisine.
What is wonton noodle soup?
Wonton noodle soup is a very common food in China. It is also an integral part of Hong Kong’s food culture. And it is mainly made of cooked wonton, noodles, and hot soup. The earliest wonton was mainly made with pork fillings, and shrimp fillings wonton is also popular now.
And the wonton has a smooth mouthfeel, and the noodles are chewier with elasticity. Wonton noodle soup is rich in protein, starch and other nutrients.
Essentials of authentic wonton noodle soup
Authentic wonton noodle soup is exquisite in three aspects:
1. The noodles are made of flour and duck eggs without water.

Wonton noodle soup recipe:
You’ll need:
150g pork
150g shrimp
150g wonton skin
Noodles
1 coriander
1 green onion
1 slices ginger
Pepper
White cooked sesame seeds
Sesame oil
1 teaspoon light soy sauce
2 teaspoons starch
Cooking wine
Oyster sauce
1 teaspoon fish sauce
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
Vegetable oil
Green vegetables
How to make wonton noodle soup
Wonton filling
Chop pork and 75g shrimp into the mud. And add them in a large bowl, add ginger, green onion, salt, sugar, 1 tablespoon of cooking wine, fish sauce, starch, vegetable oil and oyster sauce. Mix them well. Add 75g shrimp with 1 tablespoon of cooking wine and 1 pinch of salt in another bowl. Marinate them for a while.
Wrapping wontons
Take a slice of wonton skin and place meat filling and a shrimp in the center. Then fold it in half and wrap the filling. And you can wrap them into ingot shape.
Boiling wonton noodle soup
1. Chop coriander and green onion, mix them with salt, sugar, light soy sauce, oyster sauce and sesame oil in a bowl. Heat a wok with water, and cook until boiling. Add noodles in the wok.
2. Add the wonton in the wok. Transfer the noodles in a large bowl, and continue to cook the wonton until floating. Transfer the wonton in the large bowl.
3. Pour a large tablespoon of noodle soup in the large bowl, and pour another large tablespoon in the coriander. Mix them well.
4. Pour the coriander mixture in the large bowl, and add cooked green vegetables. Sprinkle pepper and cooked sesame. Serve.
