Ingredients

  • 500 g spare ribs
  • 3 plum
  • 2 tablespoons cooking wine
  • 1.5 tablespoons light soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons vinegar
  • 30 g rock sugar
  • ginger
  • 1 teaspoon green onion

Instructions

  • Cut the spare ribs into small pieces. Mix 3 plum, 2 tablespoons of cooking wine, 1.5 tablespoons of light soy sauce,3 tablespoons of vinegar and 300ml clear water in a bowl to make sesame sauce.
  • Heat a pot with clear water, add 2 slices of ginger and spare ribs. Heat it under high heat until boiling. Drain and transfer the spare ribs on a plate. Heat a wok with oil, and stir-fry rock sugar under middle heat until melted and golden.
  • Add the spare ribs and stir-fry quickly. Pour the sesame sauce and cook it under high heat until boiling. Cover the lid and continue to cook it under middle heat for 30 minutes until the spare ribs soft.
  • Remove the lid and turn the fire up, continue to cook it under high heat until the sauce has thickness. Pour 1 teaspoon of vinegar, sprinkle white sesame seeds and green onion on it. Transfer it on a plate and serve.
